Wishaw Aikikai is a member of the British Birankai under the technical direction of T.K Chiba Shihan.

The Chief Instructor, Stephen Boyle, studied directly under George Girvan Sensei as well as Mr. Chiba, and has achieved a rank of 5th Dan, Shidoin (literally meaning, senior teacher).

Boyle Sensei is a senior instructor of the British Birankai, and is a former member of the British Birankai Technical Committee, responsible for the technical direction of the art within the British Birankai. Wishaw Aikikai also offers beginner through to advanced classes in Aikido and weapons. All are welcome.

The club trains at the Wishaw Sports Centre, Wishaw (near Glasgow), Scotland. See here for a map.
